Small groups are an important and integral part of church life. There are groups for men, women, couples, families, and youth. They meet at various times during the week, usually in homes.

Small groups provide opportunity for

  • making lasting friendships
  • caring for one another
  • sharing
  • growing spiritually
  • and reaching out to others.

Interested in getting better connected with others in the church? Call 936-756-0063 for more information about a group just right for you, or browse online for available groups.

Real People

JeffJeff
I was raised Catholic, but as I grew up I grew away from the Lord. I was into drugs, sex, rock music, lots of sin. My beautiful wife gave her life to the Lord first and eventually talked me into going to see the band from church play at the local high school. I was blown away by the power, emotion, faith, and holiness this band seemed to have. So I went to the church on Sunday morning and listened to the message. The third time I went, I was filled with the Holy Spirit and I knew I was changed. A lot of good changes started happening in my life very fast. I am glad the Lord is in control. I still have a lot to learn in my new faith. It is really awesome!

My parents divorced when I was three and my mom eventually found a female partner who also became a parent to me. Kids at school found out about my mom and picked on me. I had little to no hope for normality at school. As a teenager, I became promiscuous in hopes that it would bring me the love that I needed. It didn’t. Then a boy brought me to Christ the King Church. All I could do was cry during praise and worship. Then one Sunday, I was crying and a little old lady just put tissues in my hand. That show of love overwhelmed me and the next week I gave my life to Christ. Now I am the happiest married woman and more than that I am deeply in love with Jesus. Now I know exactly who I am and what love really is! I love you Lord!
